Service interruption due to network modernisation and expansion – Phase 2

Nairobi, January 20, 2017:As part of its long term transformation agenda, Telkom Kenya is embarking on the second phase of its network modernisation and expansion project that began in December 2016. The second phase of the project starts Saturday, January 21, 2017.
Service provision to our mobile Voice and Data customers within the larger areas of Westlands, Lavington, Parklands and the CBD will be affected. This particular phase of our countrywide network upgrade should be complete by the first week of February. Service interruption will be experienced in the morning hours during this period.
Our customers in these areas should be able to enjoy an improved experience on mobile Voice and Data service at the end of this exercise.
Any inconvenience caused to our customers during this exercise is highly regretted.
